    Arrival in El Calafate, Gateway to Patagonia

    Upon arrival at Buenos Aires’ Ezeiza International Airport, you will be greeted by a local driver (Spanish-speaking) who will escort you to Aeroparque Domestic Airport by private car. From there, you’ll board a domestic flight to El Calafate, a journey of about three hours.

    After arriving in El Calafate, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a local meal at a nearby restaurant as you prepare for the exciting trekking adventures starting the next day.

    Second Day of Trekking in Paine National Park

    After breakfast, you'll board a catamaran to cross the stunning Lake Pehoé. From there, the trekking adventure continues from Italiano Camp as you hike along the base of the majestic Paine Grande, the highest peak in Paine National Park. Your journey leads you into the spectacular French Valley, where you'll be mesmerized by the enormous hanging glacier, the "French Glacier," clinging to the slopes of Paine Grande.
    Lunch will be a packed box meal enjoyed along the trail, and dinner will be served at Paine Grande Lodge, where you'll stay for the night.

    Third Day of Trekking in Paine National Park

    After breakfast, you'll set out toward the Grey Lake viewpoint, braving Patagonia’s signature strong winds. From this vantage point, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the iceberg-dotted Grey Lake and the vast Grey Glacier, which spans 4 kilometers across. If the weather is clear, you may even catch a glimpse of the expansive Southern Patagonian Ice Field in the distance. Keep an eye out for condors soaring overhead, a common sight in this region.

    After lunch, you’ll have some free time to rest or explore. In the evening, you'll enjoy a sunset over Grey Lake, a truly magical experience. Dinner will be served back at EcoCamp, where you'll spend the night.

    Fourth Day of Trekking in Paine National Park

    After breakfast, you'll embark on the highlight of Paine National Park—the trek to the iconic Torres del Paine (Towers of Paine). The challenging hike will reward you with the breathtaking sight of the three granite towers that make this region world-famous. Once you reach the viewpoint, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch (box lunch) while taking in the stunning scenery.
    After soaking in the beauty of the landscape, you'll return to EcoCamp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

    Return to El Calafate

    After breakfast, you'll depart from EcoCamp and return to El Calafate. A box lunch will be provided for the journey. And the afternoon you also have the option to join an additional tour (at an extra cost) to visit a local ranch, where you can interact with sheep and learn about the region's rich wool industry. Patagonia is renowned for its high-quality wool.

    Explore Perito Moreno Glacier

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Begin with a glacier cruise and an ice trekking experience, where you'll get an up-close view of this majestic natural wonder. You'll also have time to admire the glacier from the viewpoint, taking in the breathtaking scale of the ice field.
    Lunch will be at a local restaurant before you head to El Chaltén in the afternoon. In the evening, you'll enjoy dinner at another local restaurant.

    First Day of Fitz Roy Trekking

    After breakfast at the hotel, you'll begin your trek to the iconic Mount Fitz Roy. Today’s goal is Laguna de los Tres, a stunning glacial lake with incredible views of Fitz Roy towering in the background. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

    In the afternoon, you'll trek to a campsite located at the base of one of the best viewpoints for Fitz Roy. Since the next day starts early, you'll settle in for an early rest. Dinner will be served at the campsite.

    Second Day of Fitz Roy Trekking

    At dawn, you’ll hike to a viewpoint to witness the sunrise over Mount Fitz Roy. Watch as the mountain transforms through shades of yellow, orange, and red under the morning light—a truly magical experience. After taking in the sunrise, return to the campsite for breakfast before continuing your trek towards Laguna Torre, where you can enjoy the stunning combination of the lake and Fitz Roy’s towering presence.

    You'll return to El Chaltén for lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon is free for you to explore or relax at your leisure. Dinner will also be enjoyed at a local restaurant.

    Journey Home from Buenos Aires

    After a light breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your domestic flight back to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour of Buenos Aires, taking in the charm and culture of this lively capital.

    Later, you'll be transferred to Ezeiza International Airport to catch your flight home, bringing your unforgettable Patagonia adventure to a close. Safe travels!

Essential Gear for Paine National Park / Required Items:
Hiking Boots: High-cut, waterproof lightweight hiking boots. Well-worn and comfortable.
Casual Shoes: Sneakers or comfortable shoes for use during travel or at hotels.
Suitcase/Large Duffel Bag: A large, lockable bag to store all your gear during travel. Ideal for checking in on flights or leaving at hotels.
Backpack: A 30-50 liter backpack for hiking, with a waterproof cover.
Sleeping Bag: A 4-season or winter sleeping bag. Rentals are available.
Rain Gear: A Gore-Tex jacket and pants (separate). Can also serve as a windbreaker. Ponchos and umbrellas are not suitable due to strong winds.
Warm Clothing: A fleece sweater paired with rain gear is recommended.
Trekking Pants: Stretchy, quick-drying pants.
Clothing: Regular hiking gear. Prepare for large temperature changes by layering.
Additional Clothing: Quick-drying underwear. Bring both long and short-sleeve shirts (T-shirts).
Gloves: Light, warm gloves. Quick-drying knit gloves are acceptable.

While this tour highlights stays at the renowned EcoCamp (glamping), please be aware that it is extremely popular and typically fully booked during the high season from December to March, often up to a year in advance. If EcoCamp domes are not available on your preferred travel dates, we will provide alternative options, such as mountain lodge stays or standard tent accommodations. This optional tour takes you beyond the final day at Uyuni to the stunning Laguna Colorada in the Bolivian Andes. After lunch on your last day in Uyuni, you'll begin your journey southward in a 4WD vehicle, heading towards the Red Lake, Laguna Colorada. You will spend the night in a town near the lake, and the next morning, you'll explore the flamingo-inhabited red waters of Laguna Colorada and the nearby rock formations. In the evening, you'll return to Uyuni for another night's stay before heading to La Paz the following morning.

From La Paz to Lake Titicaca:A Journey Above the Clouds

After having breakfast at the hotel early in the morning, you will head to Lake Titicaca by bus. Enjoy a one-day tour on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca, visiting Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) and Copacabana, with lunch included. From the small town of Copacabana on the shores of the lake, you'll take a boat to Isla del Sol, where you'll explore life on the island, rich with remnants of Inca culture. Dinner will be at the hotel, and you will extend your stay at the Ritz Apart Hotel in La Paz.

Take a bus from La Paz for a two-and-a-half-hour journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tiwanaku. A guide will provide a tour of the Tiwanaku ruins, which are the remnants of the Tiwanaku civilization, a foundation of Inca civilization.

Visit the Nazca Lines from Lima

Arrive in Lima the day before the tour starts. Early the next morning, you will be transferred by private car to Ica (about a 4.5-hour drive one way). Upon arrival in Ica, take a Cessna flight to see the Nazca Lines! Since the flight can be quite bumpy, we recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance. For lunch, visit a winery in Ica that produces Peru's national spirit, pisco. You can observe the distillation process and enjoy various pisco tastings. In the afternoon, you'll return to Lima by private car (driver only). After arriving in Lima, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner is not included.

On the following day, refreshed by your time in the desert oasis, embark on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, known as the "Galapagos of Peru," and take in the stunning scenery of the Paracas Desert Peninsula.
