    Arrival in the Atacama: Journey Begins in the World’s Driest Desert

    From Santiago, Chile’s capital, it’s approximately a 2-hour flight to Calama Airport, where your local guide will be waiting. After all tour participants have gathered, you will transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Atacama.

    In the afternoon, we will visit the Valley of the Moon, followed by a beautiful sunset viewing. Dinner will be at a local restaurant or your hotel. After dinner, enjoy stargazing at an observation point.

  • Day2

    Breathtaking Landscapes: Miscanti Lake & Atacama Salt Flats

    Breakfast at the hotel.
    Depart for a tour of Miscanti Lake and Miniques Lake, located over 4,000 meters above sea level. This peaceful area is home to only a few water birds, offering a serene atmosphere.
    Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
    In the afternoon, visit the Atacama Salt Flats and enjoy a sunset viewing afterward.
    After the tour, return to your hotel.
    Dinner will be at the hotel or a local restaurant.

  • Day3

    Crossing the Border into Bolivia

    In the morning, take a private vehicle to the Tatio Geysers, located at an altitude of 4,500 meters. Enjoy a picnic-style breakfast next to the geysers as you watch them erupt with the sunrise.
    After the tour, return to the hotel for checkout. Then, travel by private vehicle to the Bolivian border. At the border, you’ll meet your Bolivian driver and guide.

    Next, head to Eduardo Avaroa National Park, a nature reserve that borders Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. Here, visit a series of vividly colored lakes, including Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, and Laguna Colorada, which change hues depending on the weather conditions. The area around the lakes is home to various species of flamingos, as well as wild vicuñas and llamas, which are known as treasures of the Andes.

    After the tour, transfer to Villamar for dinner at your hotel.

    Journey to the Uyuni Salt Flats

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
    With your local staff, embark on a journey to the Uyuni Salt Flats, crossing through stunning rocky canyons and rivers along the way.

    Arrive at the Salt Hotel, located right in front of the Uyuni Salt Flats. From there, split into 4WD vehicles driven by local drivers and venture into the vast salt flats.
    End the day by watching the breathtaking sunset over the Uyuni Salt Flats.

    A Full Day to Enjoy the Uyuni Salt Flats

    Start the day early with stargazing at the Uyuni Salt Flats, followed by watching the sunrise over the vast salt flats.
    Return to the hotel for breakfast and some rest.
    Later, head out again to visit the Train Cemetery and Colchani Village (known for its salt refining). Enjoy a picnic lunch in Uyuni.

    In the afternoon, take your time to fully experience the ever-changing, dreamlike landscapes of the Uyuni Salt Flats. After a beautiful sunset, return to the hotel for dinner.

Transfers to La Paz and Uyuni will be in a large bus with a group. Please ensure you adhere to the designated meeting times. Additionally, the driver will only speak Spanish.
Regarding the Uyuni Salt Flats Tour
Please be aware that sunrise, sunset, and stargazing at the Uyuni Salt Flats may not be visible due to weather conditions. The guide or driver may change the tour itinerary based on the moonrise, weather, and road conditions.
Private Vehicles
For sections of the itinerary where a private vehicle is specified, we will generally provide a private car exclusively for your group. However, during peak seasons, if a private guide or car cannot be arranged, you may need to share the vehicle with other customers from our company. In such cases, please note that there will be no reduction in the tour cost.
Luggage Information
The weight limit for flights between La Paz and Uyuni is 20 kg. If your luggage exceeds this limit, please leave the larger items at your hotel in La Paz. Even if your luggage is within the weight limit, it may not be loaded due to weather conditions or aircraft limitations. Please note that the organizer is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of luggage unless caused by intentional or negligent actions. We kindly ask that you take care of your personal belongings at all times.

From Uyuni Salt Flats to the Red Lake in the AndesTwo-Day Extension

This optional tour takes you beyond the final day at Uyuni to the stunning Laguna Colorada in the Bolivian Andes. After lunch on your last day in Uyuni, you'll begin your journey southward in a 4WD vehicle, heading towards the Red Lake, Laguna Colorada. You will spend the night in a town near the lake, and the next morning, you'll explore the flamingo-inhabited red waters of Laguna Colorada and the nearby rock formations. In the evening, you'll return to Uyuni for another night's stay before heading to La Paz the following morning.

From La Paz to Lake Titicaca:A Journey Above the Clouds

After having breakfast at the hotel early in the morning, you will head to Lake Titicaca by bus. Enjoy a one-day tour on the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca, visiting Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) and Copacabana, with lunch included. From the small town of Copacabana on the shores of the lake, you'll take a boat to Isla del Sol, where you'll explore life on the island, rich with remnants of Inca culture. Dinner will be at the hotel, and you will extend your stay at the Ritz Apart Hotel in La Paz.

Take a bus from La Paz for a two-and-a-half-hour journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tiwanaku. A guide will provide a tour of the Tiwanaku ruins, which are the remnants of the Tiwanaku civilization, a foundation of Inca civilization.

Arrive in Lima the day before the tour starts. Early the next morning, you will be transferred by private car to Ica (about a 4.5-hour drive one way). Upon arrival in Ica, take a Cessna flight to see the Nazca Lines! Since the flight can be quite bumpy, we recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance. For lunch, visit a winery in Ica that produces Peru's national spirit, pisco. You can observe the distillation process and enjoy various pisco tastings. In the afternoon, you'll return to Lima by private car (driver only). After arriving in Lima, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner is not included.
