6-Day Uyuni Salt Flats Tour: Discover Verde & Colorado Lakes
Experience the Inca's lost city, sail on the highest navigable lake, and walk on a stunning salt flat.
5 nights and 6 days, starting and ending locally
The area surrounding the Uyuni Salt Flats is filled with stunning sights. This tour is designed to help you explore as many of these breathtaking spots as possible.
Visit Laguna Verde, a striking turquoise lake situated at 4,500 meters, and admire its vivid colors caused by the minerals in the water. Flamingos gather along its shores, adding to the beauty of the scene.
Next, explore Laguna Colorada, a red salt lake known for its contrast with white sand islands. Located in Eduardo Avaroa National Park, this lake is home to three species of flamingos.
Lastly, head toward the Bolivian-Chilean border, where the towering Ollague Volcano stands, surrounded by beautiful lakes and the rocky Siloli Desert. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including flamingos, vicuñas, and llamas along the way.
Key aspects of this tour
Our Top Priority: Your Safety
At the high altitudes of the Uyuni Salt Flats, there is always a risk of altitude sickness. Our guides discreetly monitor your health throughout the journey to ensure your well-being. In Bolivia, where political instability and frequent strikes can occur, our local guides are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable travel experience.
Explore the Hidden Gems Around the Uyuni Salt Flats
While the breathtaking beauty of the Uyuni Salt Flats often steals the spotlight, the surrounding area is home to stunning lakes, hot springs, and diverse wildlife. This tour takes you beyond the salt flats to explore these scenic spots, even reaching the Bolivian-Chilean border, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural wonders Bolivia has to offer.
A Journey to a World Beyond Imagination
It’s a world so extraordinary, it gives you goosebumps. To witness the breathtaking night sky over the Uyuni Salt Flats, with stars in every direction, requires perfect weather conditions—reflections in the water, clear skies, and just the right amount of moonlight.
But nature is unpredictable.
Located at an altitude of 3,600 meters, the vast expanse of the Uyuni Salt Flats can reveal expressions far beyond what we imagine, with ever-changing conditions influenced by the wind and weather.
With years of experience observing these unique phenomena, we’ll guide you into this special landscape, using our knowledge and expertise to create a journey that’s as dynamic as nature itself.
Our goal is to share this otherworldly experience with you.
By analyzing the weather, the position of the sun and moon, and leveraging the insight of our experienced local guides, we offer a flexible journey that adapts to nature’s rhythms, rather than being bound by a fixed schedule.
Join us for a night of stargazing under the vast sky, with a warm drink in hand!
