The World's Largest Wetland: A Paradise for Wildlife

3 nights and 4 days, starting and ending locally

The Pantanal is one of the largest wetlands in the world, stretching across Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia. On the Brazilian side, it is just a 3-hour drive from Cuiabá, the capital of Mato Grosso State.

With its unique climate of alternating dry and flood seasons, the Pantanal has developed a rich and diverse ecosystem, home to an astonishing variety of wildlife that rivals even the Amazon. Unlike the Amazon, the Pantanal's open landscape, free from tall trees, offers excellent visibility, making it perfect for wildlife observation.

In recognition of its extraordinary biodiversity and unique natural environment, the Pantanal was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 as the “Pantanal Conservation Area.
