Key aspects of this tour

Stay in the Serengeti for 2 Nights in UNESCO’s World Heritage Site

The Serengeti, a vast and iconic landscape, means "endless plains" in the Maasai language. With an area nearly the size of some small countries, the park is home to over 3 million animals, making it one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. During your 2-night stay, you’ll immerse yourself in the Serengeti's unique wildlife and scenery. Staying in luxury tents, surrounded by nature, this experience offers an unforgettable escape from the ordinary into the heart of the wilderness.

Comfortable Road Travel

Tanzania’s national parks and reserves are spread out, often requiring long drives between them. However, these road journeys offer the perfect chance to observe local life, passing cattle, and scenic landscapes, providing a deeper connection to the country. This itinerary is carefully designed to ensure a relaxed pace, balancing wildlife experiences with enjoyable travel. By staying in Karatu, a location offering easy access to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the tour also offers an affordable and convenient option without sacrificing the richness of the safari experience.

Highlights

Highlights of this Tour

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is located adjacent to the Serengeti National Park in northwestern Tanzania. The name "Ngorongoro" comes from the Maasai word for a large hole. This natural volcanic caldera spans 16 km north to south and 19 km east to west, with the crater rim standing at an altitude of 2,400 meters. Inside, a diverse ecosystem thrives with vast savannahs, lakes, and forests, creating a haven for wildlife and a remarkable destination for nature lovers.
Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's most famous park, renowned for its vast, endless plains. It is home to an extraordinary amount of wildlife, with around 30% of the animals being wildebeest. The awe-inspiring sight of nearly two million wildebeest during the Great Migration is world-famous, attracting roughly 90,000 visitors annually. This migration is one of nature's most impressive spectacles, as massive herds travel in search of fresh grazing, making Serengeti an iconic destination for safari enthusiasts.
Bordering Kenya and Tanzania, Tarangire is famous for its baobab trees and picturesque landscapes. During the rainy season, wildlife migrates to the park's acacia woodlands and open savannah, rich in minerals. From June to November, the dry season draws large herds of zebras, wildebeests, and Cape buffalos to the life-sustaining Tarangire River. The park offers a magical experience of diverse wildlife and stunning scenery, particularly during these dry months when animals congregate near water sources.
