ブラジル北東部に位置するナタルはリオ・グランデ・ド・ノルテ州の州都で、人口は約80万人。リオ・グランデ・ド・ノルテ州はブラジルで最もヨーロッパに近い州です。そのためか、ヨーロッパからの観光客に人気のビーチリゾートがたくさんあります。ブラジルでは非常にポピュラーな食べ物である干し肉（Carne de soul）発祥の地で、ブラジル北東部の地元料理を出すレストランも多くあります。

無料で見学あるいは参加できるカーニバルです。数多くのバンドが様々な場所で演奏をし、また、リオのようなサンバ学校のプレゼンテーションもあります。
6月祭（Festa Junina）：
年中暖かいブラジルの東北地方でも少しだけ肌寒くなる6月、麦藁帽にチェックの田舎風の洋服、女の子はそばかす＆みつあみというお決まりのスタイルをし、この時期しか食べない6月祭独特の料理を食べます。夜は焚き火をし、クワドリーニャというダンスを踊ります。
12月 カーナタル：
カーナタルとはカーニバルとナタル（クリスマス）をかけた呼び名で、12月に4日間に渡り行われるビッグ・イベントです。3大カーニバルの一つであるサルバドールのカーニバルと同じように、有名な歌手がトラックの上に乗り、通りを歌いながらゆっくり移動します。参加者は好きな歌手のトラックについて歩き、歌い、踊り楽しい時間をすごします。
ナタル周辺地域の見どころ
1598年1月6日、東方の三博士の日（Dia de Reis）に着工したことから、ヘイス・マーゴス（東方の三博士）要塞と名付けられました。
星のような形をした要塞は海、川、陸を監視できるようにポルトガル人によって設計されました。

海が好きなブラジル人たちは「ナタルに来て、ジェニパブの砂浜に行かないことはローマに行ってローマ法王に合わないことと同じこと」と言います。そんな人気のジェニパブ海岸は、ナタル市内から20Kmほど離れた場所にあります。砂浜用の窓のないバギーに乗り、砂浜を走りまわるのが人気のアトラクション。希望により、スリル満点コース（Com emoção）か控えめコース（Sem emoção）を選ぶことが出来ます。スリル万点コースは10m位の高さから90度の角度で砂浜を滑り落ちます。
ジェニパブ海岸では、ラクダに乗ってのお散歩も人気のアトラクションです。
ポンタ・ネグラ海岸はナタル市内から約15kmに位置するブラジルでも最も美しいビーチのうちの一つです。
海岸は4Km 近くあります。また、ポンタ・ネグラ海岸の南端に砂丘で有名なモーホ・ド・カレーカ海岸があり、全景を見渡すことが出来ます。

カシューナッツはブラジルでカジュ（Caju）と呼ばれるフルーツの種です。ナタルのピランギ海岸の砂浜に沢山の木が植えられています。カジュの収穫期は8月～1月。熟したカジュは少し渋みを含むとっても甘いフルーツです。フルーツのほとんどが果汁といっていいほどジューシーなフルーツです。ブラジルではカシューナッツはもちろんジュースやリキュールとして加工されています。
色々な形をした岩山と透明度抜群の海、多種多彩な海の生き物が訪れる人を魅了します。世界遺産リストに登録されています。アクセス方法は、レシフェから1日2便、ナタルから1便飛んでいる飛行機に乗ります。群れて泳ぐイルカたちや大きなウミガメと出会えます。

 ホテルを9時に出発。まずは、海岸沿いの通りを車窓の美しい景色を楽しみながらドライブし、ヘイス・マゴス要塞へ。1614年に完成したこの要塞は星のような形をしており、海、川、陸を同時に監視できるように、ポルトガル人によって設計されました。続いて、街の中心にあるナタル大聖堂またはサント・アントニオ教会をご覧頂きます。教会を見た後は、アート＆クラフトセンターへ行きお土産を選びましょう。昼食まで1時間半程度、お時間をお取りします。 昼食は地元の料理をお楽しみください（昼食＆ワンドリンク代込）。 昼食後は、モホ・ド・カレカからの素晴らしい景観をご覧頂きます。 ツアーの最後には、世界一大きなカシューナッツの木を見学し、近くの静かなビーチで散歩や海水浴をしてゆったり過ごした後、ホテルに戻ります。（上記ツアーの内容・順番は変更の可能性があります。ご了承下さい。） |
