Along the way, they cross treacherous rivers, facing raging currents and lurking crocodiles, creating the breathtaking "River of Life."
Their migration spans over 2,500 kilometers, with a stay of 1-2 months in Kenya before returning south after the rainy season. The moment these animals cross the river is not only a triumph of nature but also a true miracle of life.

And in the Maasai Mara, the close encounter with the "Big Five" adds countless surprises to this incredible journey.
During the migration, the grasslands become not only the stage for wildebeests and zebras but also the hunting ground for Africa's predators. Especially the "Big Five" — lion, African elephant, leopard,African buffalo, and black rhinoceros — they are the highlight for every visitor.

Let's Meet the "Big Five"
Lion
Known as the "Kingdom of Lions," Maasai Mara is home to mighty lion prides. You’ll often see them patrolling their territory with majesty or resting lazily in the shade. Witnessing a lion hunt is an intense and awe-inspiring spectacle.
African Elephant
The African elephant is the most gentle yet powerful giant of the savannah. Herds in the Maasai Mara live harmoniously, and the intimate interactions between them — like mothers caring tenderly for their calves — are truly touching.
Leopard
The leopard, known as the fastest predator in Africa, often hides in the tall grass, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. When the hunt begins, its lightning-fast sprint is absolutely mesmerizing.
African Buffalo
With their massive size and hardened horns, African buffaloes are known as one of the most dangerous animals on the plains. Around watering holes, you’ll often see herds standing alert, ready to defend against lurking predators.
Rhinoceros
Though critically endangered, you still have a chance to witness the majestic black rhinoceros in the Maasai Mara Reserve. Their massive frame and distinctive horns symbolize the raw power and beauty of the savannah.
"More Than Sightseeing — A Deeply Moving Experience"
Watching the Great Migration and encountering the Big Five is not merely a trip — it is a profound lesson in life. Immersed in the wild, you will feel the resilience and fragility of life, witnessing the wisdom and bravery of animals fighting for survival. From the rushing Mara River to the endless grasslands, from the predator's hunt to a mother wildebeest protecting her calf — every scene is filled with inspiration and wonder.
Additionally, you’ll have the chance to interact with the Maasai people and learn how they coexist harmoniously with nature. The culture and traditions of the Maasai add rich human depth to the savannah. Their stories and songs will give you an even deeper understanding of the land’s true charm.
