モンセラート地区

  • 5月広場：ブエノスアイレスの中心地でもあり歴史的にも始まりの場所である5月広場。1810年5月25日の独立宣言はこの場所で行われました。中心地には5月の塔、その奥に大統領府、近くにサントドミンゴ教会といった重要な建物の中心地となっています。住所：Av. Rivadavia y 25 de Mayoアクセス：地下鉄Plaza de Mayo駅、Bolivar駅、Peru駅、Catedral駅からすぐ
  • 大統領府（カラ・ロサーダ）：1873年から1894年にかけて建築されたスペイン・ロココ調の建物。ピンク色に塗られているのが特徴的で『カサ・ロサーダ』（ピンクの家）とも呼ばれています。
    住所：Balcarce 50アクセス：地下鉄Plaza de Mayo駅、Bolivar駅、Peru駅、Catedral駅からすぐ。5月広場となり。
  • 大聖堂（カテドラル・メトロポリターナ）：1827年に完成したネオクラシック様式の大聖堂。5月広場から見える12人の使途を表す12本の柱と完成当時よりともされ続けている炎が印象的です。この大聖堂には南米開放へ導いたホセ・デ・サンマルティン将軍の棺が安置されています。

  • カフェ・トルトーニ：おしゃれなカフェが立ち並ぶブエノスアイレスの中でも一番古いカフェ・トルトーニ。有名人が数多く愛したこのカフェは夜になるとジャズやタンゴショーなど違う顔を見せてくれる人気スポットです。

  • 国立美術館：国内外の芸術家の作品が1万点以上展示されています。中世以降から近代までのヨーロッパ作品が多く、マネ、シャガール、ゴッホ、ピカソなど世界的に有名なアーティストの作品を楽しむことができます。

  • エビータ博物館：貧しい少女時代からファーストレディになったエビータで親しまれるマリア・エバ・ドゥアルテ・デ・ペロンの博物館。少女時代から、女優、大統領夫人へと波乱の生涯を写真や書籍から知ることができます。

  • 2月3日公園
    通称パレルモの森と呼ばれる広大な敷地内には、ゴルフ場やスタジアムなど様々なスポーツ施設をはじめ、レストランや日本庭園、プラネタリウム、更には国内線空港まで所在しています。日頃から地元の人々がジョギングや犬の散歩コースとして利用したり、家族や友人とのんびりマテ茶を楽しんでいます。特に併設されているバラ園は圧巻で、18000本もの様々な品種のバラが季節ごとに順を追って咲き誇ります。観光客向けのメルヘンちっくな馬車に乗って公園内を散策することもできます。
  • パレルモソーホー
    このエリアには、ハイセンスなブティックやジュエリー、雑貨店、おしゃれなカフェや美味しいレストランなどが並びまさにブエノスアイレスの代官山と言える場所。毎週土、日にはエリアの中心に位置するセラーノ広場でハンドメイドグッズやファッション雑貨などのマーケットが開かれ、多くの地元のおしゃれさんたちで賑わいます。

  • コロン劇場：イタリアのミラノ・スカラ座やパリのオペラ座と並んで、「世界三大歌劇場」といわれるコロン劇場。世界的にも有名なオペラ、バレエ、オーケストラなど見ることができます。また、劇場内の見学ツアーもありメインホールや舞台製作現場なども見ることができます。

  • カミニート：この地に生まれた有名な画家キンケラ・マルティンによりペイントされたカラフルな家が立ち並ぶカミニート。彼が建てた幼稚園の2、3階が彼の美術館になっています。南米ならでわの色使いがとても可愛らしく、印象に残る町並みを楽しめます。アクセス：バス、またはタクシーで、5月広場近辺から約10分。
  • ボカ・ジュニアーズ・スタジアム：アルゼンチンサッカーチームの中でも最も人気のあるボカ・ジュニアーズ。試合の日は厳戒態勢で警備が行われて近づけませんが、試合がない日は、スタジアム内を見学できます。

    アクセス：バス、またはタクシーで、5月広場近辺から約10分。カミニートからすぐの場所にありますが、治安があまり良くないのでタクシーでの移動をおすすめします。

アルゼンチンタンゴ

アルゼンチンの下町の貧しい地域で生まれたアルゼンチンタンゴ。今では、さまざまな場所で見ることができます。アルゼンチンタンゴのディナーショーは、少し遅めの8時前後が基本。夜の12時くらいまで楽しめます。

  • バー・スール：タンゲリーアの老舗。数少ない本場で認められた日本人タンゴダンサーも活躍するお店。タンゴショーは毎日20時30分から。

ブエノスアイレスへの行き方

ブエノスアイレスには、エセイサ国際空港と主に国内線が発着するホルヘ・ニューベリー（アエロパルケ）空港があります。エセイサ国際空港からブエノスアイレス市内まで約15ｋｍ、セントロまで約35ｋｍの距離、ホルヘ・ニューベリー空港からは4ｋｍの場所に位置しています。

エセイサ国際空港から
・レミース：契約車両、ハイヤーのこと。　市内までAR$600-（会社により値段が若干異なります）。空港カウンターで支払いをしホテルまで一律価格なので安心です。
・タクシー：中心地まで高速代金含めAR$600-。ホテルまでの距離によって値段も変わりますが事前に金額の確認が必要です。
・リムジンバス：マヌエル・ティエンダ・レオン社が運航しています。市内の指定ターミナルまで AR$220。
・コレクティーボ：一般路線バス。時間帯により所要時間も異なりますが、市内中心地まで約２時間。 AR$13
